This will enable provision of the right information & experience to customers and significantly reducing Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses.
Tulip has been selected for execution of the order for the supply, installation and commissioning of MPLS VPN, internet and other connectivity services to all the project towns under the R-APDRP scheme floated by Power Corporations of Uttar Pradesh (UP).
Some challenges faced are:
* Lack of proper infrastructure
* Discrepancy in system, leading to commercial losses
* Lack of systematic electrical implementation
According to the statistics, there are huge AT&C losses in India, which amount to around 32-33%. Government wants to reduce these losses to atleast 15% and has taken initiatives to invest Rs. 50000 Crore to enhance the electrical and IT Infrastructure. Tulip has connected 2100 locations of the customer by providing MPLS connectivity and connected 4 utilities, ie: Meerut, Lucknow, Agra and Varanasi. Tulip has also provisioned 46000 GPRS connection which result in proper automatic meter reading. Tulip has helped in both DC and DR by providing internet connectivity to the customer.
